Our story

Most QR generators in 2026 have the same flaws: they force a sign-up before you can download, they upload your content to a server, they bury the useful options behind a paywall, or they quietly turn a "free" code into one with an ad interstitial. We built QRGen the other way around.

At the core, our generator runs entirely in your browser. Type a URL, Wi-Fi password, or contact, and the QR is rendered on your own device — nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored, and there's no account wall between you and a printable code. That's a promise we intend to keep for the free tier, forever.
