What is a Wi-Fi QR code?
A Wi-Fi QR code encodes your network name, password and security type. Scanning it with a phone camera connects the device to your Wi-Fi automatically — no typing.
Does it work with hidden networks?
Yes. Tick the "network is hidden" option and the code will include the hidden flag. Guests can still connect by scanning.
Can I change the password later without re-printing?
Static Wi-Fi QR codes can’t be edited — you would re-generate the code. For hotels that rotate passwords, consider a dynamic URL QR linking to a password page, or re-printing (they are cheap and fast to make).
What size should I print it?
At least 25×25mm for reliable scanning. A 5×5cm card with your logo and network name is the hospitality standard.
Can I change the Wi-Fi password after printing the code?
Not with a static code — the credentials are encoded in it. Regenerate the code when the password changes, or use a dynamic code (paid) pointing to a page you can update.
